The Tempest: Family Workshop 9-12 Years
Dive into the strange and wonderful world of The Tempest in this fun and practical workshop for children aged 9 – 12 and their families.
Start your day with a peek inside our Globe Theatre to hear about the history of Shakespeare’s London and the theatrical world he created.
You’ll then visit one of our rehearsal rooms to take part in an interactive workshop for the whole family. Using a range of activities and games designed to draw out elements of the play’s language, characters and themes, the session will bring you together with other families to discover the magic of The Tempest.
Workshops will be led by one of the Globe’s highly experienced practitioners, who include actors, teachers and directors. You can enjoy this as an experience on its own or alongside one of our related Family storytellings.
These workshops are designed for children aged 9 – 12 and their grown ups. All under 18s must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult throughout the workshop, and we encourage everyone to take part together.
