The Comedy of Errors: Guided Tour
This event has now passed.
Visit our What's On to see our current and upcoming events.
Take our unique The Comedy of Errors themed Guided Tour of the Globe Theatre and discover more about Shakespeare’s madcap comedy.
Inside the wooden ‘O’ itself, you’ll be introduced to the plot and characters of the play by our expert guides before delving into its history and themes.
Alternating from dark and baffling to ridiculous and absurd, you’ll learn how this early comedy sees Shakespeare celebrate the origins of farce and test the waters for what’s to come in some of his later comedies.
You might even catch a glimpse of the Company preparing for the next performance of The Comedy of Errors on stage!
You don’t need to have booked to see the show to take a tour, but it would complement attending a performance of The Comedy of Errors perfectly. The tour is timed so you can comfortably enjoy it before the show.
