Experience the most famous love story of all time in an exhilarating live storytelling of Romeo and Juliet.
Verona is a fair city. You might have heard the story of Juliet and her Romeo who made it so famous. Perhaps you’ve even imagined standing underneath the balcony as Juliet gazed out into the Italian night.
But our star-cross’d lovers are from two rival families, the Capulets and the Montagues. They have to keep their love secret. And as we all know, secrets eventually lead to terrible things.
In the hour’s traffic of our stage, Fe Drummond transports us to parties, gets mixed up in some street brawls and feels the heartbreak like we were there. Fe is an actor, director and Learning Consultant at Shakespeare’s Globe.
Be warned, never was there a tale of more woe.
What’s in a name? that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.
— Romeo and Juliet, Act II, scene 2
