Romeo and Juliet: GCSE Boost
Bring your study of Shakespeare’s tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, to life in this practical GCSE Boost designed for ages 14–16, who are already familiar with the play.
Start your day with a peek inside the Globe Theatre and hear about the history of Shakespeare’s London and the theatrical world he created.
Then, in one of our rehearsal studios, jump into an interactive workshop led by one of our highly experienced education practitioners and explore the play’s language, characters and themes using a range of acting techniques and drama activities. You’ll develop a greater understanding of the work as a performed text and a practical toolkit that you can carry forward into your study and exams.
Please note that these workshops are designed for young people aged 14–16 attending independently. Parents and guardians can enjoy the Globe’s food and drinks offer during the workshop.
