Focusing on four women in Shakespeare’s plays – Juliet, Lady Macbeth, Beatrice and Hero – you will draw together critical writing with practice from the Globe’s rehearsal rooms to re-evaluate these characters for our times.

Led by an experienced Globe Practitioner, you will explore how these techniques can be adapted for the classroom to encourage students to examine their own reactions to Shakespeare’s portrayal of women.
