Take our unique Macbeth Guided Tour of the Globe Theatre this Summer 2023 and discover more about Shakespeare’s epic tragedy.
Inside the wooden ‘O’, you’ll be introduced to the plot and characters of the play by our expert guides before delving into its history, politics and portayal of the supernatural.
Why is the play said to be ‘cursed’? Why do people only refer to it as the ‘Scottish play’ when inside a theatre? And where might Shakespeare’s obsession with witchcraft come from?
You might even catch a glimpse of the company preparing for the next performance of Macbeth.
You don’t need to have booked to see the show to take a tour, but it would complement attending a performance of Macbeth perfectly. The tour is timed so you can comfortably enjoy it before the show.
