Macbeth: GCSE Revision Boost
Supercharge your revision of Shakespeare’s bloody tragedy Macbeth in this practical GCSE Boost day designed for ages 14–16, who have already studied the play.
Start your day with a peek inside the Globe Theatre and hear about the history of Shakespeare’s London and the theatrical world he created.
Then, in one of our rehearsal studios, jump into an interactive workshop led by a highly experienced education practitioner and explore the play’s language, characters and themes using a range of acting techniques and drama activities. You’ll develop an in-depth understanding of the play and leave a practical toolkit that you can carry forward into your study and exams.
Please note that these workshops are designed for young people aged 14–16 attending independently. Parents and guardians can enjoy the Globe’s food and drinks offer during the workshop.
We also offer sessions tailored for those who may not be as familiar with the text who would benefit from an introductory workshop.
