Step out from the shade of the Forest of Arden and into the glow of the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse for If It Please You, a night of glam, high camp and drag inspired by Shakespeare.

Celebrating an artform whose roots go back centuries, founding member of Pecs Drag Kings, actor Isabel Adomakoh Young, and actor, theatre maker and drag king Nina Bowers, both part of our 2023 As You Like It company, curate an evening of drag that pays homage to the performance of gender that began on the Shakespearean stage.

They’re joined by fellow members of our As You Like It company and a fabulous roster of special guests, to bring you a sumptuous assortment of performance, readings and facilitated conversations.
