Festive Family Tour
Celebrate the holiday season and discover the magic of London’s iconic wooden ‘O’ on a Festive Family Tour of the Globe Theatre.
Led by our expert Guides, you’ll hear how Christmas was observed in Shakespeare’s time and learn about the folk traditions that people practiced to welcome in winter.
From wassailing to the winter solstice, ‘kissing boughs’ to proper mince pyes, this family-friendly guided tour will enchant, fascinate and warm even in the frostiest of weather. But do still wrap up well – don’t forget our wooden ‘O’ is outdoor!
Why not make a day of the festivities and enjoy an enchanting performance of Hansel and Gretel in the Globe Theatre, explore exclusive gifts and souvenirs in our award-winning Shop, or enjoy a Festive Afternoon Tea at Swan Bar & Restaurant.
