Most widely known for his haunting full-length plays like Three Sisters, Chekhov is also celebrated as a remarkable writer of short fiction, whose works have resonated with audiences around the world. This special event will showcase some of these brilliant tales.

In Chekhov’s Short Stories, we also celebrate Constance Garnett, the pioneering female writer and translator who first brought Chekhov to the English-speaking world in the nineteenth century.
