Visit our What's On to see our current and upcoming events.
For one night only join us in our iconic Globe Theatre for the 50th anniversary of Alternative Miss World, a celebration of transformation, creativity and beauty that goes beyond gender, age, race and sexuality.
Since its humble beginnings in founder and host Andrew Logan’s London studio in 1972, the celebration has become an internationally renowned beacon of glittering light, colour and joy, attracting artists, performers, and misfits of all kinds.
For the event’s golden anniversary, only one theme will do – GOLD. Get ready to witness a sparkling, iridescent explosion of performance art, pageantry, and sculpture in a spectacle that must be seen to be believed.

MORE EVENTS IN SUMMER 2022...
Three Sisters
For the first time at the Globe, experience the work of playwright Anton Chekhov with this twentieth century classic. Their world is going up in flames, one minute at a time. But can three sisters create the change they’re longing for? Caroline Steinbeis returns to the Playhouse to direct the world premiere of a new translation by playwright Rory Mullarkey.
Cymbeline
A secret marriage changes the course of two ancient kingdoms. For the first time in ten years, see Cymbeline, Shakespeare’s late, tragic comedy of love and rebellion, in the candlelit Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Director Jennifer Tang makes her Globe directorial debut.
