Celebrate 25 years of our wooden ‘O’ on a special guided tour, led by expert guides who were there at the start of our journey.

From within the Globe, our legacy guides will transport you back to the beginning and share their stories of the creation of the building, including Sam Wanamaker’s plight for planning permission, the construction of the site, and the cast of characters involved in bringing Sam’s vision to life.

There will also be moments to reflect on the remarkable range of performances and events our Globe has hosted over the last 25 years from the early years under Mark Rylance’s direction through to present day and Michelle Terry’s leadership.
