How To Book Access Tickets Online
Joining the Access Scheme
By joining Shakespeare’s Globe’s Access Scheme, you are eligible for discounts for most performances at Shakespeare’s Globe and the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Membership of the scheme is valid for three years from the date of joining but, upon expiry, you can renew your membership, should you need.
Booking Access Tickets Online
Once you have registered with our Access Scheme, follow these instructions to book Access tickets for productions in Shakespeare’s Globe and the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.
1. Go to the production you would like to book for
Click the ‘Book Now’ button near the top of the page. This will take you to the list of performance dates. Choose your preferred date and time.
2. Choose a section of the theatre to book tickets in
Once you have chosen your performance, you will be taken to an interactive image of the Globe Theatre or the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Click on the section that you would like to book tickets in.
3. Select your preferred seats from the seat plan
Seats that are grey squares are unavailable. Seats that are circles with letters are available.
Click on the ‘Prices’ button for a key.
Please note that any seat that has a star next to it has additional information e.g. ‘Restricted View,’ ‘Side View’.
4. View recommended seats
If you are booking for one of our assisted performances, you can view our recommended seats for accessing the provision. To do this, use the links at the top of the seat selection page to switch between viewing only the recommended seats, and all available seats.
5. Choose a ticket type
Once you click on a seat, you will be prompted to choose a ticket type. Please choose the ticket type ‘Standard.’ Once you proceed to the checkout stage, up to two tickets will be discounted automatically to half price.
6. Click ‘Add to Basket’
When you have selected all of the seats you wish to purchase, add them to your basket.
7. Log in to our website
If you haven’t already, log in to our website. Make sure to use the email address you provided on sign-up to the Access Scheme.
8. Review the cart details page
You will see that your ‘Standard’ ticket has been changed to an ‘Access’ ticket.
9. Click ‘Go To Checkout’
You can now complete your transaction.
10. Check your emails
You will receive a confirmation email detailing your order. Your digital tickets will be available in your online account and will be sent to you by email the day before your visit.
If you do not receive these, please check your junk or spam folders, as occasionally our emails can end up here.
Additional Info: Access, Parking & Assistance
If you have a blue badge, you will be able to book a space in our car park free of charge but please note we have a very limited number of spaces available. Please contact the Box Office on 020 7401 9919 to book a space.
