Shakespeare’s Globe Candle Competition Terms & Conditions  

Win an exclusive Shakespeare’s Globe candle, produced in Scotland.

• The prize is valid for one exclusive candle sent out to the winner once it has been produced.
• Each participant may submit one entry only by filling out this form.
• The competition closes on Friday 28 February 2025, 11.59pm (BST).
• The winner, who suggests the smell combination that best represents the Globe, will be selected by our Head of Retail and contacted via email no later than Friday 7 March 2025. If multiple entrants suggest the same winning scent combination then two winners will be selected at random from this group of entrants.

Please read these competition rules carefully. By entering this competition, you confirm that you have read these rules and agree to be bound by them:

• Entry is open to UK entrants aged 18 and over, except for those not eligible to take part: employees or contractors of the promoters or immediate family members of employees or contractors of the promoters
• There will be no charge for entering the giveaway
• We will NEVER ask you for your bank details or to enter personal information in exchange for the prize
• Only entries submitted before Friday 28 February 2025, 11.59pm (BST) will be entered into the competition
• Shakespeare’s Globe can accept no responsibility for entries that are not received for any reason, and incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified
• All entries received after the closing date will automatically be disqualified
• Submissions must be original ideas created by the entrant and must not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights.
• If you win the competition, we will notify you via the email provided in the submissions form. If we cannot contact you or you do not respond within 24 hours of being notified by Shakespeare’s Globe, we reserve the right to offer the prize to another competition entrant
• The winner will be chosen by our Head of Retail from all eligible entries received via the submissions form. If multiple entrants suggest the same winning scent combination then two winners will be selected at random from this group of entrants.
  
• By submitting an entry, participants agree to assign all rights, title, and interest in their submission to Shakespeare’s Globe. Shakespeare’s Globe will own the exclusive rights to the winning submission, including the right to modify, reproduce, and use it for commercial purposes. The entrant of the winning submission waives any claim to profits, royalties, or other compensation arising from the production, marketing, or sale of products featuring the winning submission. The entrant agrees to execute any documents required to effectuate this transfer of rights.
• Any information submitted as part of your competition entry will be processed in line with Shakespeare’s Globe’s Privacy Policy.
• As part of your entry by email, you can choose to opt into receiving email updates from Shakespeare’s Globe. This is not a requirement of entry and you can update your preferences, or request that we delete any of your personal data, at any time by email [email protected].
• The prize is not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Any information submitted with an entry will not be given to any other organisations apart from the promoters of the competition, Shakespeare’s Globe. Your privacy will be protected
