Schools' Storytellings

Suitable for Key Stages 1 – 2

Schools’ Storytellings are the perfect introduction to Shakespeare’s plays for your pupils. They are interactive performance of well-known plays performed by a Globe storyteller at your school or in our magical, indoor Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.

Our Schools’ Storytellings are one-hour retellings of a Shakespeare play. Storytellings are performed by an expert Globe Storyteller and feature several interactive elements, where pupils are encouraged to contribute verbally, physically and creatively to the performance. The story is delivered in accessible English, but with key Shakespeare quotes from the original play mixed in.
