hakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a Producer (Maternity Cover)  to join our Theatre and Performance Department.

Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a Producer for maternity cover for up to 12 months, to work closely with the Artistic Director, Senior Producers, and other members of the Theatre team in the development of Globe productions.

The purpose of this role is to line produce selected shows across the summer season in the Globe Theatre and winter season in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, (SWP) as well as working as part of the Producing team to provide support across all productions at Shakespeare’s Globe.

With line management responsibility for the Assistant Producer, the Producer will lead on the curation, programming and line-producing of visiting artist performances, projects and events across both playhouses, ensuring that all Globe productions and events are delivered to the highest standard.

The successful candidate will have at least five years’ experience of professional producing in mid to large scale venues, with an excellent understanding of working with creative teams and experience of curating, programming, contracting and delivering complex events. They will be able to handle delicate situations with tact and sensitivity and have a solid understanding of negotiating complex contracts and managing production budgets.
