Tamsin Hurtado-Clarke

Tamsin Hurtado Clarke is a British-Venezuelan movement director, theatre-maker and performer who lives in Bristol. She trained at Ecole Internationale Jacques Lecoq in Paris from 2006-2008.
Previous work for Shakespeare’s Globe includes The Winter’s Tale and The Comedy of Errors.
Her theatre company, Popelei, is the leading Latinx arts organisation in the South West and has a particular focus on supporting female-identifying narratives. Through Popelei, Tamsin curates the biennial Anglo-Latinx performing arts festival PAPAYA Fest and hosts Papaya Radio, a monthly bilingual radio show on Bristol’s BCFM. Tamsin is thrilled to be part of another production at The Globe.
Her work has toured the UK, Europe, and Latin America.
