Nick Bagnall

Nick’s previous work at Shakespeare’s Globe includes credits for Hansel and Gretel by Simon Armitage, Edward II, Love Labour’s Lost, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Henry VI parts 1, 2 and 3, The Death of King Arthur, and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. As part of The Complete Walk, marking the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, Nick directed short films of Henry VI Part 2, Henry VI Part 3, and Titus Andronicus for Shakespeare’s Globe.
Recent theatre credits include Our Lady of Blundellsands, Sweeney Todd, The Conquest of the South Pole, Romeo & Juliet, A Clockwork Orange, The Big I Am which was a reimagining of Peer Gynt (Liverpool Everyman); and Hushabye Mountain (Hope Mill Theatre).

Nick trained at the Guildhall as an actor and has worked extensively in most major theatres in the country. He was formerly joint artistic director of The Milton Rooms. Nick was the Associate Director of the Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse between 2014 and 2019.
