Missed out on securing your £5 standing tickets so far? Still want to watch some of Shakespeare’s best-loved plays up close and personal? Looking for that last-minute way to step into the story and experience London’s iconic wooden ‘O’ this summer?
Our £5 Rush gives you the chance to access our legendary £5 Groundling tickets closer to the day of the performance, even for sold-out shows!
Every Friday at 11.00am, we release a limited number of £5 standing tickets for performances in the following week. These tickets are only available online and are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

HOW TO BOOK £5 RUSH TICKETS.
Our £5 Rush tickets are available at 11.00am each Friday for performances between the following Monday and Sunday.
£5 Rush tickets are only available for performances of Much Ado About Nothing, Richard III, Antony & Cleopatra, Taming of the Shrew, The Comedy of Errors and Princess Essex.
In the run up to 11.00am, click the ‘Book £5 Rush’ button that will appear on this page to join the queue for tickets, and you’ll be assigned a random queue number.
Once you have reached the front of the queue, choose the performance you want to book for and then select the ‘Yard’ from the seating map. If there are still £5 Rush tickets available, you’ll be able to add them to your basket here.
£5 Rush tickets are subject to availability and are non-transferable. Terms and Conditions apply.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What tickets are available through £5 Rush?
All tickets available through the £5 Rush are standing tickets in the Yard. Yard tickets, or Groundling tickets, are unallocated and are a unique way to experience the magic of the Globe Theatre.
If the performance is not sold out, other tickets may be bookable at the same time as the £5 Rush tickets. These tickets are not Rush tickets and will not be discounted.
Which performances have £5 Rush tickets?
£5 Rush tickets will be available for all performances in The Globe. Rush tickets are not available for other events in the Globe Theatre, performances in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse or other tours and activities.
Each Monday we will update this page to show the full list of performances that we will release £5 Rush tickets for that week.
Are £5 Rush tickets suitable for people with access requirements?
£5 Rush tickets are standing tickets in the Yard and so all audience members will need to be able to stand for the duration of the performance.
If you have any access requirements which mean you are unable to stand, please contact the Box Office on 020 7401 9919 to discuss your options before the £5 Rush release.
All the £5 Rush tickets have sold out. How else can I see the show?
£10 standing tickets in the Yard and seated tickets elsewhere/in the galleries in the Globe Theatre, priced between £65 and £25, can be booked, subject to availability, for all performances if the £5 tickets have sold out.
If the performance is completely sold out, we recommend checking our website regularly as tickets may be returned or released.
